How can he be so consistently funny?

I'm nice and toasty now, but that was not the case a few hours ago. We had no heat last night! A trusty repairman from the NSTAR utility company showed up at 1 o'clock in the morning to take a look. He reset the thing-ma-bob, and bingo! the furnace started right up. When David woke up at 5 am shivering, he knew all was not well. 4 hours later, another repairman came and fixed the doo-hickey. It's noon, my office is warm, and all is well with the world,... Well, I better take a shower now, while I'm certain of hot water. Just in case.
